Happy 4th - Magnolia Beach, TX.

A few days ago we celebrated the 4^th of July. We celebrated a day (about 244 years ago) when a group of individuals came together with the goal of creating a place where people would be free to think their own thoughts. A place where people would have a say in how their country should be run. This was a bit of a revolutionary idea at the time. Lucky enough, they succeeded and today we live in America.

As fellow Americans, we may disagree on how our country should be run. We may have different perspectives that lead to conflicting ideas. However we can all agree that we share this country as our home and we share the freedom to put in our two cents. We can also agree that if we mix together all of our ideas, we might just end up with a stronger, more balanced set of principals for our country.

So keep making use of these freedoms, keep developing your own opinions and keep sharing your thoughts with other people (maybe even the President). Happy 4^th of July.
